2011

2015 EVENTS

Senior Citizens' Lunch - 18th February 2015 saw us entertain 88 people in the Memorial Hall.

Dancing Round the Maypole - 1st May 2015 saw the children of Tewin Cowper Pimary School entertain us with traditional dances. 

Annual Coach Trip - 9th June 2015 took us to Cambridge for a great day out. 

Senior Citizens' Vintage Afternoon Tea - 9th July 2015 saw us entertain 70 people to a special afternoon tea in the Memorial Hall.  The orchestra from Tewin Cowper School came to play for us. 

Tewin Classic Car & Craft Show - 23rd August 2015 saw over 300 classic cars on Upper Green together with 40 craft stalls. 

Scarecrows Competition - 12th/13th September brought 45 scarecrows to the village, lots of marvellous creations!

Carols Around the Christmas Tree - 17th December 2015.  The evening was dry and lots of families came to welcome Father Christmas to Tewin.

Decided to pay the Web-site's Domain Fee for the future

Tewin Memorial Hall required sponsors for a grant, gave £1,000

Purchased wreath for Remembrance Day

Allocated the monies from the Classic Car Show to the following groups in Tewin Village:

Organised a two day event “Celebrating Tewin” which included  The History of Tewin by the People of Tewin.

2002

 

Easter Fair for the Brownies.
Helped the Tewin Memorial Hall to organize Jubilee Event for Tewin. which included,
Dance in the Hall, 1950s style with Big Band.
Children’s Tea Party.
Church Service on the Village Green.
Senior Citizens Tea Party.

Donated a Trophy for THACS.
Provided the Brownies with two New Notice Boards.
2001

Summer Bingo.
Open Gardens: -later taken over by the newly formed THACS.
Music Hall evening,
Organised Barn Dance at Muspatts Barn.
Balloon Race at Tewin Fete.


Donated money to Tewin Memorial Hall to redecorate the  Kimberly Room.
Sponsored the hire of the hall for the first meeting of the newly formed THAC.
