Tewin Stores has just been Awarded the Campaign to Protect Rural England Chairman’s Award!

The Tewin Stores manager, Bev Barraclough receives the Award from Richard Bullen, Chairman of the CPRE.

Our shop won this Award for the way it supported the Community throughout lockdown, and because it has been run as a viable social business since 2008.  The Store has also demonstrated that it has a sustainable future, and has never depended on the efforts of just one or two individuals. The involvement of the Community in supporting the shop, both customers and volunteers, which helped to fund the purchase of the premises impressed the judges.
