In July, a small team of volunteers organised a splendid afternoon tea in the shop and cafe courtyard. After much fraught planning, the day arrived with an enormous spread of sandwiches, cakes, scones and sausage rolls all freshly made and donated by volunteers. They were certainly enjoyed by our customers and no-one left hungry that afternoon! In addition, we made c.£220 from the event, which helps our much needed income.
