TEWIN COMMUNITY TRANSPORT
Autumn NEWS 2019
We are delighted to have received a £500 Grant from Cllr Ken Crofton’s Locality Fund. Ken said he was very pleased to be able to support our excellent initiative. We are also very pleased and grateful for further financial support of £500 from the Parish Council and another £500 donation from Friends of Tewin which will all help to keep the wheels going round. East Herts Council also continue to support 50% of our running costs.
Our passengers have been so appreciative of the weekly Saturday Minibus service and delighted with the ‘Special Outings’ which this year have provided enjoyable trips to Ayletts Garden Centre near St Albans and the Dutch Nursery in Brookmans Park. There will be a further Seasonal visit to St Albans including the Market on 30 November and back by 1pm so get your place booked early!
Young People’s Survey update – Thank you again to those who have responded to our Survey Monkey Questionnaire. The results have been considered by the Steering Group and we would like to respond by looking at a Pilot Project during the Summer Holidays 2020. We will need to find some additional funding to make this happen and will keep you updated as and when we can.
As always to Book your place on the Saturday Minibus and to pay your Fare (£2.50 single, £5 return. Under 18s half price) Call Ann Kevis on 01438 717473.
