General Collection Days	Thursdays for the village, Upper Green and Upper Green Road, Orchard Road and Tewin Wood Collections alternate between general waste and material for recycling -Garden waste, newspapers, glass, cans and cardboard. See schedule at www.eastherts.gov.uk Please place your refuse at the edge of your property by 7am. People who cannot physically move their containers to the boundary on collection day may apply to the District Council (see below) for their Assisted Collection Service.
