6.1.2 RF has put up a new lamp which Jane will operate via a key.
6.1.3 RF has ordered a replacement lamp for the one in the hall, which should be a good match with existing lamps.
6.1.4 RF can not mount the certificate plaques direct to the all and so is buying some MDF to attach them to.
6.2 Health & safety
6.2.1 Roy has finished the document and has given a printed copy and one on disc. A copy will be left with Jane and a copy put on the noticeboard. It was agreed that a copy would be sent to the Parish Council with a note to remind them that names may change over time.
TC
6.3 Decorating committee
TC and PH ha met with RC and went through the hall with him to agree what work would be carried out. He will do everything from the wood upwards. An advantageous price has now been agreed and a letter of confirmation will be sent.
TC/PH
RC has been asked to contact TC/PH/RF if he finds any problems when he begins in case an instant decision needs to be made about action.
KSP asked if it would be possible for RC to have a look at the rafters whilst he was working on the ceiling and able to move the ceiling panels. As there has been some loose tiles it would be helpful to know if the rafters had been affected. TC to discuss this with RC.
TC

THACS have organised a Christmas tree for Lower green and there will be carol singing round the tree on 22nd December from 5.30pm. The Parish Council has asked that lights powered by battery would be used to avoid the use of electric cables, however this was proving difficult and FoT may have to ask the Parish Council to review this request. TC confirmed that the Hall cable cover could be used if required and the car park. It is hoped that this could become an annual event.
