3. Summary of year to
31st December 2006

TC reported that the previous year had been a good one.

There had been a new window in the Parish room in addition to the redecoration and the formation of a health and safety subgroup.

TC reflected on his time in office, beginning in 1991 as a committee member and as chair from 1996. In response to a plea for help the committee numbers increased and TC found it easier to carry on with support from PB and LF.

* PH and DH had done a great job driving the redecoration programme forward.

* PB revitalized the 200 club which is now known as the supporters club.

* PB has put the accounts into order

* New tables have been bought for the village.

* LF obtained a grant which enabled new chairs to be bought.

* The jumble sale takings are up from £500 each when TC began to over £1000 now. The fete used to raise £1000 and now makes £4000.

* Future plans are to replace windows, implement health and safety report and complete the redecoration.

TC thanked all committee members for their help and all others behind the scenes.

4. Accounts - Year Ended
31 December 2005

PB reported that the Hall was benefiting from increased rental income and the increased useage –150 useages up from 2005.

2006 had been a good year for fundraising and expenses were fractionally lower than 2005.

The supporters club has raised £10,000 since it began at the end of 2001, including gift aid which accounts for £1,800 of this.

The funds have been invested well and higher interest gained of £1,503

PB commended the accounts, which had been agreed by an independent examiner.

Approval was proposed by LC and seconded by PH.
