TEWIN FAMILY DAY JULY 15TH 2007 HELD ON THE UPPER GREEN
Organised by the Friends of Tewin to celebrate the Opening and Handover of the new Playground
The Playground was opened by
Lord Laming accompanied by
Lady Laming in the company of
David Fitzpatrick from the
Herts Community Foundation,
Christine Lawson,
Chairman of the Parish Council and
Revd. Coralie McCluskey
who blessed the playground
Entertainments and displays were provided
including
a bouncey castle, Punch & Judy.
a Police 4x4,
a Fire Engine,
a mobile zoo,
a Playbus,
singing by the School Choir and many others.
There was also a Pig Roast. These pictures show some of the attractions.
There was a display of
over 50 classic cars
