subsequently analysed independently by the University of Hertfordshire.

Dear Parishioner,
I have pleasure in attaching a copy of the final printed version of the
Tewin Parish Plan. Representatives of Friends of Tewin are delivering a
copy of the plan to every household in the Parish on behalf of the
Parish Council.
The Parish Plan records the views and aspirations of Parishioners,
following the questionnaire survey carried out in 2007 that was
subsequently analysed independently by the University of Hertfordshire.

Parish Plan has been produced within the original budget figure of
£3,500 with funding by East Herts District Council, Awards for All
lottery fund and Tewin Parish Council.
The Plan includes an Action Plan to take forward the outcomes from the
survey, some of which have already come to fruition, whilst the plan
has been in the process of development, with the creation of the
children's playground and the reopening of the Tewin village shop.
The Parish Council has now agreed a process and timetable for
progressing the recommended actions. It is anticipated this will
include the formation of further small Steering Groups, as set out in
the document, to look in more detail at specific issues arising from
the Parish Plan before firm decisions can be made. If any member of
your household would be interested in joining one of the groups please
contact the Parish Clerk (see above).
I would like to thank all members of the Parish Plan Steering Group,
and in particular its Chairman John Sheridan, for their hard work and
dedication in producing the plan and to all others who have contributed
to its compilation and distribution. This would not have been possible,
however, without the contributions of all the Tewin residents who have
completed the questionnaire and taken part in meetings and discussions
‑ thank you all.
