Scarecrow Competition

Every two years on a summer weekend Tewin is taken over by scarecrows!

Help us make this year's Scarecrow Competition better than ever. There is still time to enter this year's Scarecrow Competition.

Entries will be judged, and winners receive a prize.

Every house in Tewin should have received an entry form. Any queries please contact Linda Crawford.

Our last competition was two years ago. Mrs Tiggy-Wiggle was one of the fantastic scarecrows, have a look at our picture gallery from the 2006 competition - it might just inspire you for this year!

Barn Dance

A lovely warm evening in July helped to make the Barn Dance at Muspatts Farm such a success. 

Over 160 people attended and some were able to sit outside and listen to the music whilst enjoying a drink, made possible by staff from the Rose & Crown Public House.

Everyone enjoyed the band and the caller Sue helped us all to get the steps right,  but despite this some of us still seemed to get in a muddle which made it all the more enjoyable and  fun to watch.

The BBQ food served by Roast-Aholics of Knebworth also went down really well.  Our pictures show some of the folks who enjoyed themselves.  Hope to see you all again at the next one.
